Saw a new SA Lightweight Champion

I snuck in the gun shop the other day for some shooting and made the mistake of glancing in the counter.

Got to fondle a Springfield loaded Champion with an olive drab lightweight frame and a black slide. Ambi safety, commander style hammer, other goodies.

Damage was 749.00. Seemed a bit high from what I have heard.

Anyone got any range time with one of these? I haven't even paid off my Smith 1911PD and I am already looking for the next addition to the safe. Quite sad but realizing you have a problem is the first step to recovery, right?

Very nice guns ! Friend of mine bought one, price seems about right on that on, or average rather. The Novak night sights are bright and very easy to get on target. Trigger pull is smoooooth. I want one myself.

Talk to them on the price, and buy it, you won't be disappointed.


Actually since I have one GI Springfield, Im thinking of getting the lightweight GI Champion and doing the other stuff one piece at a time.
