pwede bang manood lang i might bring with me my future father in-law medyo interesado bumili ng baril at sumali rin sa shooting comp. May bagong bukas daw kasi na shooting range sa del monte bukidnon.
I plan to make this one. I may have to buy a boat though to get there.Is it a Saturday Sunday event or just one day? ( I shoot rather slow.):) ;a ;a

Shootfest has a new title. It's LOCK & LOAD which will be aired starting tom at 9 PM on SPORTS PLUS channel. Replays Sat at 5 PM.
Saan yang Sports Plus channel? Yan ba ang Solar Sports (which, btw, will have a Bikini show tom at 930 PM yata. ;f)?

This coming gun show pwede ba siyang bumili kahit na nakatira sila sa bukidnon province paano nya iuuwi yung baril once na lumabas na. Or pwede kaya buy siya ng gun dito tapos kunin na lang nya sa branch sa province any suggestions?

saw the pilot episode on sportsplus channel. (every Wed. 900-930pm). it's quite hikab, ho-hum, been there, saw that, episode without much action.
mas maganda pa siguro i-submit natin kay Loy yung mga MTV's ng BoG para ma air! hahaha! ;f

I Beat Lito 3-4 times in a row today. walang pustahan. 2 seconds in a long course and consistent half a second win on a standard course:cool:

post mo magkano charge ni metrillo pagawa ng compensator. sa EGW meron cila CNC 3-port comp $100.

i think its easier to tune an open gun in .38super.
but the 9mm mags will accept the 38 super cartridges. tsaka pwede naman ipa-ream 9mm barrel to 38 super chamber length.
so pwede ka go agead with the 9mm open project.

Main reason yata nag 9mm open sila sa states is the cheaper brass. Pareho lang naman yata cost ng 9mm at 38super brass dito so why choose the 9mm.
a yun.. lalo gumulo ang preferred caliber GM Jason.;g mas maganda ata get the .38 super buy an extra 9mm barrel and alot of 9mm mags since pwede naman gamitan ng .38 super na cartridge. tsaka marami ka naman pera so walang problema. ;f
ill be using it for a training tool. but if i beat jag with a 40 or a 9 then its a bonus;f

Also, it would be better kung 100% cotton pique(lacoste fabric) or 100% cotton interlock yung fabric para malamig sa katawan. Oh ha comment from a technical designer yan.;f

Wilson Firing Range is in Bgy. Soro soro, Carsada, Batangas City. Haven't been there but the directions are.
Coming from Lipa, Star Tollway Take the road going to Batangas City, before you reach the diversion road, watch for a sign indicating Tropicana Lodge on the left side of the road. Enter the lodge grounds, there is an access road to the firing range which is about 500 meters away. Coming from Batangas City proper, the lodge will be on your right :)
That firing range was said to have been constructed in a very short time and uses concrete girders(the kind they use in building skyways) as berms and divisions coated with sandbags. Galit sa pera talaga ;f Wilson used to be active in BRPG but decided to form his own club. He's also a member of our new club (sidearm).
Aside from what Jason mentioned, I was told by Wilson Yu that their receptionists and ushers will be wearing skimpy bikinis (pero walang malisya :)). I've looked forward to this match but as usual it coincides with a previous family appointment. Haaah, leche :( Malas talaga.

If any of you are going there, practice long distance shooting skills. In the COF's, the ports are closely spaced(not much running) but the targets are far away. (around 15-25 meters).

dun sa stage 1 merong ATV, starting on the left side low port, pag dating ko sa 3rd position after ka mag reload ang una ko na target e yung 1/2 board sa left, next sweep yung far target board going to the right.
pag tama sa 1st 1/2 board, lumipad na yung alikabok, di ko na makita next target!
wala naman akong jam the whole 5 stages. pero i think i need to change to a shorter OAL.

yo, that was fun. sarap maglaro ng open. i had three decent stages considering... ;g the last stage was a dnf, trigger screwed up. sabi ni mco super dumi daw. stayed till 4pm reshooting the stages. enjoy ! Doc ec, Paul, san n kyo? ;f

My gun is now officially "de-commissioned" for the long break. Hayup sa kapal ng dumi yung loob. Kaya pala medyo malagkit na trigger ko, halos puno ng putik yung trigger bow channel. ;f

Went to the PNPA match but decided not to shoot. I arrived during the lunch break and there were lots of shooters and the major teams were all there, giving rise to a huge backlog and all the stages were packed. To make it worse there was intermittent heavy rains that slowed the turnover. Figured I would just waste my money and time waiting in line if I entered and got to shoot only a few stages so I backed out after exchanging pleasantries with my friends there and left for Manila.
The courses of fire looked really good with lots of plates and poppers and long distance target boards. Hope those going tomorrow will have better luck with the weather.:)
Took a picture just before I left to give you an idea of the crowd :) That big parking lot was full packed.

Kung pwede nga lang sana e. But we're celebrating my son's birthday tomorrow. If not I would've shot some stages today inspite of the crowd and rain and returned tomorrow for the rest of it with you guys. Thanks for the offer nonetheless :)
