Having trouble with Hyperlinks

I can't post them on web pages or more specificaly here on GT in my sig line. I can't even form a HL on my browser but have to form one in WORD and then attempt to copy the link to the browser but it won't let me. Please help.

i think eric has disabled linking in signature fields on Glocktalk.

yeah, well i was trying to make the text embedded with a url. But it didn't work. So that is why i got a line of text and a line with a link.
