Congratulations.

My friend has a USPc in 9mm and she loves it. I have the USPc in .40 and love it as well. I replaced a Glock 23 with the USPc as my daily carry gun.

I have a feeling it could become my favorite gun.

How many magazines come with it?

Probably 2. However, when it was made may determine what kind you get (low capacity or standard). Hers is date code AA and only included (2) low capacity magazines. Mine is AE and had (2) standard capacity magazines (previously referred to as high capacity). Thanks.

Way to go Heat! Make sure you let Silentbob know about it. SB just might need another.

Where did you order your USPc from?

I ordered one from CDNN (http://www.cdnninvestments.com/) today. It is the stainless slide model and only comes with two 10rd mags, but the price was unbelievable at $600. I also bought one 13rd mag from them for $40, so the shipped total was $650. I think they also throw in a cheapo nylon holster.

One of my friends bought the same gun a month or so ago and is very pleased with the USPc performance. I really like them, the HK grip just melts in my hand.

Cheaper Than Dirt (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ctd/default.asp) has the 13rd mags for about $34.

I believe they are, here is the link...

Cheaper Than Dirt - HK Mags (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ctd/dept.asp?dept%5Fid=122021&category=Mags+%26+Clips&dept%5Fname=H%26K&mscssid=XP4L44AKSRW09LVTLJAEJCJ11W4JDWN8)

Under manufacturer for the USPc, it says HK... some of the others say CTD or ProMag.

I bought mine from CDNN because I was already paying the $10 for shipping.

If you haven't done so, check out www.hkpro.com (http://www.hkpro.com/)

Do you mind if I ask what you paid for yours?

How much was shipping on the 2 mags? They have some pretty good deals on ammo too... I think if you order online and spend $150, shipping is free.

By the way, welcome to Glock Talk! I think this is the best "all-around" gun forum on the web.

Congrats...It's one of those, I'll never get rid of. Of course I feel that way about all my little HK friends. ;P

Let the addiction begin.

Does anyone have a SS? Does it scratch easily?

How do you order a gun via internet, what do you pay for local paperwork?

Mine is SS, but can't tell you if it will scratch easily as I have only had it since Saturday. The finish is a matte stainless, so it shouldn't be that bad.

Buying from an internet dealer is easy... your local FFL will have to send them an ink signed copy of their license if they do not already have one on file. With the larger dealers like CDNN, you can give them your zip code and they will tell you what dealers they have on file in your area. I have found that it is usually better to have them shipped to a gunsmith or a pawn shop that doesn't sell new guns.

As far a transfer fees go, my gunsmith doesn't charge me because I send him work. Otherwise, the cheapest I have seen around here is $8 and the most is around $25... whatever they charge, it will likely be cheaper than the sales tax you would pay on the same gun if you bought it locally.

$25 Holy Crap!!! I had some guns in storage at a local range and the guy sold the business. The new owner wanted me to pay $50 a gun to get them back!!!
