How difficult is it to disassemble a USP compact for cleaning?

If I can do it, I am sure you can. It is really easy, the hardest part is to pull the slide stop out.

Field stripping the USP is incredibly easy. You pull the slide back partway until the slide stop is lined up with the groove in the slide. Then you push the slide stop out from the side, and let the slide forward off of the frame. Pull the barrel and spring assembly out of the slide and you're done. Easy as pie.

yeah field stipping is very easy, but when you do decide to do a full detail strip, make sure you have your manual handy, as you will need it for refference of all the small parts, its not like a glock.

How's the quality of H&K? Looking for a good CCW 9mm compact pistol.

Steve

P.S. CDNN is running a special on H&K 9mm USP compacts with polymer frame for only $259. Should I pay more for the updated version in the P-2000 series?

I think you posted the wrong price of $259 otherwise I would buy them out at that price.
