Anyone try a .40 slide on their GAP?

Has anyone tried firing a G22 or G35 slide on top of their G37 frame?

I know the ejectors are quite a bit different. Maybe the locking block too?

Not exactly what you asked but I have tried "downsizing" both my G37 with a first-generation G17 (9mm) upper and my G39 with a G27 (40) upper. A couple mags worth with each with no problems but, due to ejector concerns, I would not trust either combination for "social work." Besides, 45 GAP is my preferred round for that anyway!
