View Full Version : 8 round mag for PM9?
Anyone have a kahr 8 round magazine? I was thinking this would be a good spare mag to carry for a PM9, since I pretty much have to use the 6 round mag in the gun. I think I've heard some company makes a 10 round mag, but you know how well non-factory stuff usually works out.

From what I have heard from PM9's owners and from my own experience with my own PM9 the 6 round magazines are the most reliable. and RELIABILITY is far more important in a self defense context then having a higher capacity mag that isnt as reliable.

Promag makes ten round magazines. I carry the 7 round factory mag as a spare in my left pocket in a pocket holster. So I have 14 rounds of +P+ 9mm on tap, not bad for a pocket gun.
This is a 10 round ProMag, but they actually load up 11 rounds. Both my 10 rounders cycle perfectly although one of them does not lock the slide back on last round.
My only regret is not getting the black magazines so it would not look so tacky.

I have an MK9.
I also have the 8 round mag.
My only complaint is that the last case eject has an annoying tendency to boink me in the forehead!! ;Q
I might get a 10 round promag and an 8 round kahr mag just to try out and see how they work. Kahr charges a lot...any place to get them cheaper?
