Going to see System of a Down next month.

Tickets werent too bad so a couple of us are gona go check them out. I'm not really crazy about their new album BYOB but I figure they'lle be fun to see in concert anyways!

I've said in another thread, I don't think System has much talent in the vocal area (they do some good harmonizing though) but they are pretty creative and pretty heavy.

Get some in the pits and send us pictures of your bruises.

I still have a scar from Ozzfest 2001. Good times.

I can't wait to see Disturbed when they go out on Music As A Weapon 3 this winter!

I was at "Music As A Weapon II" also, in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Disturbed put on one of the best shows I've ever seen. They sounded excellent and had awesome stage presence.

Chevelle sounded horrible! I like their cd, but live they suck. Their singer can't hit any of the notes that he "hits" on his recordings and the guitar wasn't doubled, so it sounded really trebly/twangy. Also, their bass player just stood there. No head-banging, no crowd interaction... nothing. He just stood there like someone punched him in the stomach.

Taproot were good to a point. I don't like their music, but because they were in Michigan (they're from Ann Arbor) they had a good showing. The singer walked out into the crowd during a slower song and patted me on the shoulder. I gave them points for crowd interaction.

Unloco was the opening band and they ****ing ROCKED! They were by far the best "no-name" opener I've ever seen. It's too bad they broke up, those guys (next to Disturbed) had the most action going in the pits, and the crowd absolutely loved them. They put on a great show.

I liked they last two CD's they came out with but this new one just doesn't do anything for me.
