View Full Version : Helped a WW2 vet today
This afternoon I was going to our local shopping mall and noticed a WW2 vet (wore a WW2 vet hat and looked to be about 80ish) having a bit of trouble getting the door to the mall entrance. Keep in mind there are all sorts of people passing him and not even making an effort to simply get the door for the poor guy. It makes me sick given all the Greatest Generation has endured that this guy gets blown off by today's punk kids!!!!!!!
Your simple gesture may have made that gentleman's day!

;? IDC, I would consider that an honor if I ever have the chance.
These guys deserve our respect when ever we can help them. Being a home health nurse and Veteran I have gotten the privilege to hear stories that I will have with me forever, must better hearing them first hand then on cable.
