G17 2nd Gen. vs. 3rd Gen.

Does anyone here prefer the 2nd gen. 17, and if so, why?

Yes. I can't stand the finger grooves; they don't fit my hand at all.

I don't really have a preferance on this one, although the mounting rails do seem to beef up this portion of the frame over the 2nd gen.:)
