View Full Version : Striping the k9 for cleaning
Ok, so my k9 elite 2003 came, and it looks grrrrrrreat! Anyways, I am trying to strip it according to the manual in order to clean it, and i cannot! Am i just not aligning it properly, or not hitting it hard enough? I have a hard enough time holding it back with one hand(any suggestions?) I know I read this in this forum, or somewhere else, but cannotfind it now. Please lay some knowledge on me;a
So what does your Kahr look like striped? Kinda a zebra look, beetlejuice?

I still have a problem removing the slide from my PM9. Lining up the marks and popping the lever out no problem. But when I try to move the slide forward, it keeps hanging on something. I am following the directions to the letter about pulling the trigger. It seems I have to keep pulling the trigger while moving the slide back and forth.
Reassembling is smooth and problem free.
Anyone else have a stubborn slide on their PM9 or is it my usual problem (the nut behind the trigger)

I lift weights... Physique ain't the greatest, but hand strength has improved, at least, enough to strip my Kahr for cleaning... ;f

VERY normal in my experience... ALL of my past & current Kahrs have needed a little giggling to remove the upper. ^c
