Purchased a new PM9 in late June and finally shot it July 13. Here are the results of the 246 rounds. Also, attached is a target placed at 25 feet. I shot 30 rounds of Winchester Value Pack 115 grain FMJ while standing with a two-hand hold.
Rounds #1 - #23
Winchester "white box" 115g FMJ
0 - malfunctions
Rounds #24 - #68
Winchester 115g JHP
0 - malfunctions
Rounds #69 - #169
Winchester Value Pack 115g FMJ
0 - malfunctions
Rounds #170 - #185
Corbon 115g JHP (rated 1350fps)
1 - FTF (It was round #171, the first fed from magazine and I'm real sure I failed to seat it fully when loading)
Rounds #186 - #196
Federal Hydro-Shock 137g
0 - malfunctions
Rounds #196 - #246
My reloads (115g Remington FMJ/ 4.8g WW231)
0 - malfunctions
**NOTE: 200 rounds fired two-handed, 26 fired right hand only, 20 fired left hand only. All fired from a standing, unsupported position. Pistol chamber was loaded then a full magazine inserted. About 80% were from the six-round magazine and 20% from the seven-round magazine.
So there you have it. From a NIB PM9 (I did strip, clean, lube) 246 rounds with only 1 self-induced malfunction.
Also, the little gun is extremely shootable and accurate. I love it! Much slimmer than the "baby" Glocks I carry.
Damned, you definitely won the lottery. I am ecstatic with the performance of my gun, but that 29 rounds into one hole is truly impressive;P
My observation is that the PM9 far outclasses other guns its size in the accuracy department. My PM9 was significantly smaller than the G26 and G27 I shot with, but it was right on par with them in regards to accuracy. I would think that in the hands of a good shot, it would be awe inspiring.

After reading GirlwithGlock horror stories about her Kahr PM 9mm, I was waiting for my new Kahr PM 9093 to malfunction during my recent 200 breakin period. I was pleasantly surprised there weren't any malfunctions. Another trip to the range and I put 100 more rounds through it but after 350 total rounds w/o a malfunction, I was getting bored. I tried holding the weapon gangbanger style seen in the movies but darn, my Kahr still didn't malfunction! I finally, in the 380+ range, induced a malfunction with a limp wrist! Saturday I had to qualify my Kahr. Seventy-five rounds later I am still waiting for my first hiccup not self-induced!
You might not want to believe the target results posted by BusterDog but I witnessed his shooting expertise yesterday and flawless operation of him newly purchased Kahr PM 9. I lent him my weapon to try because I have PT/IWI (http://www.ptnightsights.com/) installed night sights. He liked them very much as do I. My Kahr also digested BusterDog's Federal HS-137 and Corbon JHP 115 too!
While my Kahr serial number is in the VA 59XX, BusterDogs is in the VB XXXX range. My barrel has already been replaced (recall) whereas BD's Kahr wasn't in the recall range. My sight dovetails are different than BDs. Mine are "NORMAL" and most aftermarket sights can be self-fitted w/o any machining etc.
Mine Kahr PM 9093 is a keeper too and will keep you informed

Hi Tough Guy Levi.
It was a real coincident that we met at Evan's Shooter's World indoor range. We had never met before but we both uncased newly purchased PM9s. Mine had the black slide and Tough Guy's had the stainless. As he stated, both performed beyond expectations.
I'm a Glock guy but am now a true beliver in my Kahr. As soon as I qualify it will be on my CCW and a primary carry piece. I was so impressed I will be purchasing a Kahr P40 to supplement my Glock 27 (in California you can only purchase one handgun in a 30 day period).
BTW- the sights on Tough Guy's PM9 were ideal. Yellow dots on low profile rear with brighter green dot on front blade. Worked great in the subdued light of the indoor range.
WOW, now thats a detailed range report. good job.
the PM9 is a great little gun. Both of my PM9's have functioned perfectly. I have about 900 rounds of ball and HP's combined through the both of them. They are also suprisingly accurate for uch small pistols. My 1911's are jealous, they don't understand what is going on and why I am carrying this little ugly plastic gun. ;g

I have "dummy" rounds of 9mm I made to practice quick reloads. Having the PM9 for several weeks before being able to get to the range I often used these to test the feeding reliability from both slide-lock and racking the slide (in a safe environment). It worked 100% from day one.
I just had a thought- could I have "broke in" this pistol before ever firing a real round of ammunition? I couldn't stop playing :) with this new toy and surely cycled the little slide a couple hundred times. It did smooth out considerably during playtime. ;f
Nice ! Keep it lubed up. (200 pluss on my pm9 no FTF )
I have almost 500 rounds (mostly 147 gr and 124 gr JHP) on my PM9....with 3 FTF's (within the first 250 rounds).
I'm happy with my gun. I picked up an IWB holster from Eric Larsen (HBE Leatherworks) (www.hbeleatherworks.com/) which will serve as the home of this gun and my upcoming P9 Covert which I ordered from On-Point Firearms (www.onpointfirearms.com/) in St. Pete, FL.
The PM9 will be off to Kahr for night sights. I won a pair of Heine Straight 8 NS on eBay which I will have installed on the Covert.

GREAT choice for a leather holster... Mr. Larsen made me one of his custom OWB holsters for my CZ75B... ABSOLUTELY beautiful! ^c

Howdy:
Spent another hour at an indoor range (Evans Shooting World-Orange, CA) yesterday shooting my recently purchased Kahr PM 9 (9093). I loaded both of my six shot magazines with various types FMJ/JHP rounds. One hundred plus rounds later, there weren't any malfuncitons. Getting bored again, I lent my weapon to a fellow shooter and his daughter (15yr) hoping my weapon would malfunction when they were shooting it with their 9mm ammo (American Eagle). Several other Glock guys wanted to borrow my Kahr too but I ran out of time since I had attend a Rotary board meeting. One Glock (36) guy briefly held my weapon and was impressed with its fit. He, like me, has small hands!
As of this date, my Kahr has digested over 625+ rounds and has had one self-induced limp-wrist malfunction. I'll keep trying to get my Kahr to malfunction but I am not having any luck!!!

I am coming up on 1K rounds with my new PM9. Very few problems. I guess I was a lucky one to get a PM9 with no issues.
I had a few FTB's in the first 200 rounds and a few more after which as due to cheap ammo :(
I learned my lesson and now feed it good food. No problems. Easy to carry, easy to shoot, and the gun is much more accurate than I am :)
I am glad I purchased the PM9

I haven't paid them yet....since I'm in FL, it'll be the $412.49 plus tax....I also ordered about 5 spare mags too.
They are also selling the P40 Covert (http://OnPointFirearms.com/search.asp?stS=&selectcategory=905&1=Go&kfg=fromsearch) for $351.99!!

Another 40 rounds of my reloads through PM9 with only one failure to lock slide back on last round. Thats almost 300 rounds since gun was new with two only minor failures.
