Hi Russ,
How ya doing? I had a chance to talk with you a few months back on a thread about the Para-Rescue folks and FACS--I was in RECON with IDASC 3/68-12/68..WE WERE HQ'D At Camp Horn 3RD MAR DIV just outside of DaNang.. We had responsibility upto the DMZ+ . I was in Thailand a couple of times--thought about just staying but knew I would get in hot water so gave in and went back..

Someone once asked me the advantage of being based in Thailand vs SVN.

Other than being able to sleep at night without someone throwing a mortar or rocket on you, I enjoyed the longer "commute to work" without being worried about someone taking a shot at you on final.
