The norm and rule of thumb is with any given manufacturer, you can easily swap .40 mags with .357 mags & visa-versa, with no malfunction or alteration or with feed performance. I had just purchased an M357A1-it came with 2-12 round mags-but before I start making purchases of 3 or 4 mags over the internet, I wanted to hear from the forum. Again, I'm already aware of the .40/.357 Sig case diameter being identical, however I want to be certain and avoid a $100.00 error because the gun may-or-may-not be "picky" with its mag.
SigPro has the mags stamped with .40/.357 for use. My XD-40 mags worked flawlessly in my friends XD-357 with no alterations. The M357A1 only has .357Sig on it.
Any info regarding this would be of great help.
