View Full Version : USPc 9mm
I'm looking for a USP compact 9... I've looked at CDNN, but I just can't make myself like the stainless look. Are there any advantages to the stainless? or is it just a different look?
More durable finish. CDNN are great folks to deal with BTW and their prices are very fair.

It is really hard to beat CDNN's price on the stainless 9mm USPc.
What is the cheapest black slide USPc you have found?

dont spend that much money on something you don't like... I think black looks 10 times better.
Right at 700 is the best price I've found on the all black w/ 13 round magazine (online). Add $20 or $25 for shipping, and another $20 for the FFL transfer, and I'm looking at about $750. I haven't had a chance to go in any local stores and try to price one. Back in Mississippi, they were going for about $720. Out the door, it's more like $775 or so.
No offense to anyone who owns the stainless, but I just really can't make myself like they way they look. But for the price at CDNN, I may have to!
I was at a gun shop yesterday looking at this same gun. I was tempted to get it but decided to hold off. Good thing I did, I beleive they were asking around $700.
CDNN is a great company to work with. The only thing I don't like is the fact they are in state for me, so I have to paytax, but even after tax, they are still cheaper than almost anything I find local. Great customer service, cheap and quick shipping! I'll be ordering one of these from them real soon

Hey Me too, same show!
Any way I went out and shot my USPc 9 today. She's been feeling a little
neglected lately. :( Any way, she did me proud, I forgot just how much I like that
thing.

I agree completely. I want a USP Compact badly, but no matter how attractive the price is I just can't enjoy the look of the stainless slide.
As far as it being a more durable finish...Stainless is good, but so is HK's normal Harsh Environment finish. It's arguably one of the best in the business.
Personally, I'm going to wait until I find a good deal on a regular Compact. I'm not spending several hundred dollars on something I'm hoping to learn to like. That's got buyer's remorse written all over it. I'd rather wait and pay a little more for a gun I know I'll enjoy.

I think it would be hard to not enjoy shooting my USPc... even if it was hot pink :)

You know it! I have one in the Stainless finish and it is one gorgeous, great shooting pistol. One of my best purchases ever!

I'll be joining USPc club very soon, found one in my local shop today mint for $659, LEM, and already has NS installed!!!
BTW, I wish they have the stainless one, they're hard to find. HK made them in a very limited number in their 2 years run, I believe. If you have one, carry and be proud!!!

How's the quality of H&K? Looking for a good CCW 9mm or 45 compact pistol.
Steve
P.S. CDNN is running a special on new H&K 9mm USP compacts (TT9P) with polymer frame for only $259 or $289 for the 45 ACP (TT45P). Should I pay more for the updated version in the P-2000 series?
