I have read some info online about this and a few of the posts here but don't fully understand the trigger, hammer, etc. When you rack one in the chamber is it in fire mode similar to a SA with the hammer back or does it take the longer trigger pull like some DA's. I know this has some type of improved trigger system. Is there an external safety? Could someone explain the basics. Sorry for the rudimentary question but I am a old Glock person.
Also, how is the recoil and target reacquisition?
Thank you.
I had one for about 4 months before selling it. Mine was a 9mm variant with the LEM trigger. The trigger was LOOOOONG and I liked my G 19 much better in terms of rapid fire, target reaquisition and general ergonomics.
First pull of trigger is long, but smoooooooth, light and crisp. Little to no perceivable stack on mine Trigger reset (after a round is fired) is minimal, but takes getting used to. After pressing the trigger, you need to only let the trigger go forward about an 1/8 of an inch and it's cocked again and ready to fire.
Target (9mm) re-qquistion with P2000Sk is fast, and there is little felt recoil. I shoot mine as well as a G26. No external safety on LEM model.
