I'm very interested in getting a Kahr K9 having read a lot of articles on them and getting to handle one. I stumbled upon this board and started reading about different problems, but they seem to center around the polymer guns. I just want to ask: are most of the problems with the polymer models or have the stainless steel models (ex. K9) had the same problems?
Thanks.

The overwhelming amount of current issues R on the PM 9mm & .40
The K9 is very reliable.

You absolutely can not go wrong with the K9. A very, very reliable and great shooting gun that is very comfortable to hold (GREAT grips)and shoot well. If you can, try an Elite model that has the Elite trigger, or you can add the Elite trigger to a regular K9 for cheap dollars. You should go for it!

The K9 is Kahr’s most proven design as it’s the original one that started it all back in 1995!

I have both.
I believe that the K9 is more reliable. The PM9 took about 350 rounds to work in until I felt it was reliable enough to carry.
