I just checked the CA DOJ "approved" handgun list and found both the G38 and G39 are there.

Been waiting for months for this to happen. My Glock 38 has been in the vault in the store I work in since mid March. It was DROS'd today and I take it home on the 29th. It's about time. Really looking forward to shooting it.

Why 30 days? The background check (DROS) only takes 10 days in my part of Commiefornia. Buy it and start the DROS on the 19th and pick it up the 29th. If you are waiting 30 days somone is getting to you. Good luck to you!!

Perhaps he recently purchased a handgun--recall that CA has an obnoxious "one a month" limit!

There are so many idiotic laws in this state it is hard to keep trak of them all. I should have known that.
I hate this state, I just got popped by a mobile tax collector last night (CHP) damn them and thier quotas, guess its just time to pay my dues for living here.

Some would say that it DID take forever! The G38 and G39 have been available in Free States for some months.
