USP's don't have locking blocks per say, like say a browning high power or a 1911 pistol. My USP .40 only shows wear on the top and sides of the chamber.

If you're talking about wear on the finish it's irrelevant. HK wont reblue it for you.
I am an HK fanatic and have owned tons of USP's from the Compacts's, Tactical's, Elite's, Match's they are the best weapon out there for my money....
This being said they do have a problem with wear in this area but again, this seems to be the only place that they wear.

How's the quality of H&K? Looking for a good CCW 9mm or 45 compact pistol.
Steve
P.S. CDNN is running a special on new H&K 9mm USP compacts (TT9P) with polymer frame for only $259 or $289 for the 45 ACP (TT45P). Should I pay more for the updated version in the P-2000 series?

147 Grain,
HK quality is outstanding. The P2000 in .40 would perfect for concealed carry.
