I asked about the size of 45GAP models a while back and was told here on GT that they will not fit holsters made for the G19/23/32 size guns, because they have thicker slides.
Today I found the TeamGlock website, and checked out the specs. Supposedly the GAP models all have 1.18" width, which is identical to that of a G19/23/32.
I can only guess that *both* can't be right.. so can anyone say for certain which it is?

TeamGlock must be telling a lie. The slide is definately thicker, and my G38 won't fit in any of my G19/23 holsters. Slide width is identical to the .45 ACP pistols Glock manufactures.

The width of 1.18" is based on the frame width which the 45GAPs share with the other Glocks (9mm, 40S&W and 357Sig). However, the slide on the 45GAPs is the same width as the slide for the G20/21, G29/30 (i.e. wider than the slides used in the G19/23/32) and it is probably because of this that it does not fit the holsters for the G19/23/32.

Thanks!
The TeamGlock website actually shows the 1.18" measurement as being that of the width of the slide, not the frame - so it's completely wrong. :(
