View Full Version : May have found a Makarov convert axel 07-23-2005, 22:26 Took my wife shooting tonight. She doesn't like to shoot my Glocks so whenever she goes she takes her S&W 36 (.38 Special). Tonight I took my Mak and left the S&W in the safe. I explained the long hard pull on the first shot and that all subsequent shots would have a lighter pull. She really likes the Mak and prefers it over hers because the recoil is much more manageable for her. Now I know what to get her for Christmas! M2 Carbine 07-23-2005, 23:07 My Wife liked the Mak. Had one in Her car all the time. She liked a Pearce grip. I taught a friends wife to shoot a Mak for her concealed carry qualification. After only 3 practice sessions she beat everyone's qualification score except her husbands. Then she wanted to buy the gun from me for her carry gun.
