New P9 and need help

I just purchased a P9 Covert and really like this gun. I have shot about 300 rounds so far and still have a problem with FTB. When shooting the first 100 rounds, it would FTB about 70% of the time. After 150 rounds, I cleaned and lubed it again. Now the FTB rate dropped to 30% on the next 150 rounds.

Should I contact Kahr or shoot another 200 rounds to see if it clears up? There have been no FTF or FTE problems.

Mine was the same way when new. Keep shooting... it'll go away by itself as the tolerances loosen up with normal wear. Don't forget to clean & lube after every range session. Use the instructions found in this forum (sticky).

Check the barrel hood where it contacts the slide. If it has grooves or gouges, there may be an alignment problem and you will need to send it back. The hood should just have a smooth shiny look where it contacts the slide.
