Round nose .40

Goofy question, but why is there no round nose .40 practice ammo. What is the reasoning behind the flat nose. Also what other calibers have flat nose practice ammo.

i use Ultramax for my practice ammo..they recently changed their bullet design to a rounder ball and guess what..it wouldn't feed through my 22 :( after some complaints from me and other .40 owners, not to mention the owner of the range, ultramax switched to a flatter design
