1st Air Cav

My first assignment was to G Troop 1st Air Cav Godman Army Airfield Ft. Knox, Ky. in 1978. G Troop was deactivated in 1979/1980 and all the aircraft sent to Ft. Hood. I wasn't there very long as I was re-assigned to Germany once my aircraft were sent out.

I'd be interested in any info, web sites, patches, insignia etc.

I've tried all the usual suspectes for CAV info.
