G19 Question

I went to the gun store and the G19 in olive drab was 40$ cheaper than the regular finish one. He didn't know why does any one here have any info as to why? Thank You

I dunno. Perhaps the distributor was over stocked in the olive drab and was selling them at a discount.

they were fixed sight stock. I think im gonna run there saturday and pick it up i'll post some pics if I do.;f

Personally I don't see much point in the olive drab Glock pistols. They'd look better if the frame and slide were one color.

Well I went to the store today and they ran out of the OD green. Boy wuz I mad. The guy hooked me up and got me a pretty much new G17 for 360 with 5 10rd mags I left the store almost teary eyed.... Not really but I was really happy. I wanna get the OD green in a few months though. I'll post the pics of the G17 when I figure out how to work the damn digital camera. Till the I guess ;f ;3 ^5 ^7 ^c

www.wilsoncombat.com offers their OD green Armor-Tuff finish for $85(slide). I think it'd look fine then.

There's also bake-on finishes available through www.brownells.com and elsewhere. I've had excellent results with the dark parkerizing grey on my AR15 mags.
