I was just daydreaming. This S&W Scandium thing might just be a ticket to a Commander-sized 10mm 1911 under 30oz. I mean Smith is surely positioned well to take a stab at something like that- experience with 10mm semiautos, using Scandium in 44Mag frames and it seems they got 1911s pretty much figured out. I think it would make for one sweet pistola...

All I want Smith to do is bring back the 610. I don't care if it's in Scandium, titanium, unobtainium, or good ole' stainless steel. BRING BACK THE 610!!!!!!!!!

Count in my vote for SW to bring back the 6.5" unfluted 610. Long live 10mm!

I do wonder what smith and wesson are waiting for to release a compact 1911 3 inches is a popular bunch(kinmber,SA,COLT ect.)a 4 inch would also be a good offering but imagine my UC scandium woow nelly .katie bar the dootr!
