I purchased my Glock 20 used and my recoil spring is in need of being replaced. My question is what rating of spring would be best for my application. I load 100% of the ammunition that is fired in this weapon. I use two loads; 180@975 and 180@1200.
I purchased SS rod guide thru Lone Wolf with a 20# capured ISMI spring. I am shooting less than 1200 FPS and it works fine. I don't belive that the stock spring is 17#. Talk to Dan.

I use a 20 pounder for everything from mellow .40s&w loads to 10mm Silvertips.

I too use a 20 pounder for all of my loads. Works well with Double Tap also. It's a captured spring on a Tungstin rod.
i also use 20# for the 1200+ 180s [mine more like 1350]
and in second g20 the stock spring for the feeb lite loads
works for me
