went and shot a couple hundred rounds through the G32, it was like fried apple pie. Damn just wanted to shoot it all day. I can wear out a target with this pistol. Why do folks act like it is too powerful to shoot effectively. The only thing I shot as well was a G26 surprisingly. If they want to talk about snappy shoot a 4" 44mag.

i've also wondered the same thing too. i used to have a g30 and i have a .40 barrel for my 32 and out of the 3 i can get double and triple taps off faster with the .357sig. it doesn't come up as bad as the .45 or the .40 and i very quick back on target. i enjoy shooting it also, i just wish it wasn't so expensive!!

Ive shot my G31 using both WWB FMJ and Speer Gold dots and to me its no more snappy than my G17 with +p rounds, The G31 is very fast becoming my favorite pistol....:)

Is it any wonder that the USSS and Air Marshals went with the .357Sig.? The round is powerful, yet very easy to hit a target quickly and with great accuracy. Both agencies may need to take shots in crowded situations. They did the research and made their choice.;?

Not to mention, at least in terms of law enforcement, it can be counted on to consistently make accurate hits out to 100 yards. I can't imagine too many scenarios where a civillian, like myself, would be justified in shooting someone 100 yards away. "Now let's go over this again, how exactly was this person a threat to you and keep your hands where I can see them." Law enforcement, on the other hand, is so unpredictable one can't rule it out. So it's nice to know that the typical .357Sig duty round only loses on average 150-200 fps from the muzzle out to 100 yards. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me. Now visualize a .357Sig carbine.^c

I have a 23 and a 32..They are almost identical except for the different caliber...Both have night sights, and hoguue hand all grips...I will load up both, then have a buddy rearrange them on the table in front of me...I will then try to determine which one is which....No doubt after the first round fired...A big difference in sound and I still say the 32 is snappier..It just feels more "crisp"..Hard to explain..I love both the 23 and 32, but I am using my 32 for carry now. However I would not have a problem switching back to the 23 occasionally...
I perceive the 357 SIG fired out of my Steyr M357 as a bit "snappier" than my M9 or M40...but not by much. I haven't tried a +P round in my M9 though.
I think that the 357 SIG fired out of my M357, S40 or M40 (the latter two equipped with an M357 barrel) is more accurate than either my M9, S9, M40 or S40....either that or Steyr (and I) lucked out and turned out a really accurate barrel for my M357.

I would have to second that! It has rapidly replaced my Sigs as a "want to always carry" gun. I also have a G32 but like the 31 much better. The recoil is almost non existent. And I agree that in the 31 it is very similiar to a 17 with +p ammo.
With some of the loads that are available there is no wonder why it is becoming what it is. The Secret Service carry a Sig 229 chambered in the 357sig and use Gold Dot 125gr. They have also asked HK to replace their FN P90's with a HK MP5 Chambered in the same round, a 125gr Gold Dot 357sig!!
Keep watching, this round will get it on in the near future.

Very interesting!
I have carried my 32 daily for more than a year. In that time period, I have tryed to replace it with HIGH dollar guns in 9mm including a P7M13, a Sig 210, Walther P5 and others. Each day I still feel safer, more comfortable, and more secure with my 32 at my side.
I must say, however the Sig 210 is by far the sweetest gun i have ever procured and I am more accurate with the P7.
