I just bought a Glock 22 brand new. When it arrived I looked through the sights and the front sight is cracked. Do I send it to Glock for repair? Has anyone sent a gun back to Glock if so what was the procedure? How long did the repair take?

Completely up to you but are you sure you want the cheapo plastic sights? Might ask about upgrading to the new style night sights which are steel Trijicons if you're interested. Maybe they're using steel standard sights now too, I'm not sure. I've heard they charge a small fee for the upgrade but it's less than buying them yourself especially if they pay for shipping to and from which they seem to be doing in some cases lately.
