I checked the H&K website and there is no mention of 10mm; just 9mm, .40S&W, & .357sig. It would be nice if they actually made the gun.

The only 10mm that HK made was an MP5 version for the FBI. HK never made a 10mm pistol. The 10mm SW designation suggests the seller meant 40SW. And I believe the USP and 2000 are two seperate series of HK pistols that do not share mags. Maybe his secretary typed the ad? :)

He actually calls it 10mm S&W in the description. I think he means it's a 40cal.

Other than the MP-10, the only H&K in 10MM were a VERY few prototypes of the MK-23, aka SOCOM. The idea was to make this pistol in 10MM for it's ballistic advantages over all other sidearm ammo. In a moment of brilliance, however, the Generals in charge of the project veto'd the 10MM in favor of specilized .45ACP ammo for this weapon; the idea being NOT to add another ammo type to the logistics, & if necessary standard .45ACP could be used.
For once the military made some sense, as having only 1 platform using the special ammo could be a logistics problem, even thou it would have made the platform more "high performance".
Remember, most sidearms are a secondary, defense only item. The SOCOM was designed as a primary, offensive weapon.
They wern't as well recieved by the spec-ops groups as had been hoped, & a lot of units now use Glock 21's, H&K USP Tactical 45's, SiG 220's & various 1911's.
They were/are a BIG handgun & rather heavy. They would have been an EXCELLENT platform for 10MM.
I had a chance to shoot one with some special loads that were part of the "system" & chrono them to duplicate. The loads were equvilant to a ++P+ .45, almost at 10MM pressures, as the 185gr HP went over the clock @ 1290-1310 fps. This is a 10MM load in power. The ammo was marked "not for use in other than weapon MK23", the ammo itself was "sanitary" & I couldn't determine by appearence the mfgr. of the projectiles, even after pulling 1 to look at it.

A USPc in 10mm would be pretty sweet

It would work well & probably be an excellent shooter....but you'd probably have a better chance of the Pope operating a cathouse than convincing H&K to build a gun that wasn't "their" idea !
remember, you can always tell a German.....
but you just can't tell him much !
