Has anyone got their pistol refinished by them? I have a Colt I need refinished but cant decide on what type of finish to get. I like the 2 tone look for sure. If you have any pictures that would help!!!

I don't own a Robar treated weapon but have seen a few and the finish is excelent.
Am thinking of Robar for my P-11 as it resides in a ancle holster and is starting to show it.

Have a bunch of mags done in NP3 that have held up very well over the years. Very pleasing subtle metallic look. There other "black" finish looks like paint, IMO.

Had my custom carry 1911 (Caspian, natch) done in NP3 some years back after handling friend's; will be doing more.
Superior finish.
My "Gubmint" model is NP3'd, and I'm more than satisfied with it. Wear/corrosion resistant, cleans easily, and has a "slippery" feel to it.

I had my P220 sig (euro) done back around 85 or 86 with NP3 on the slide and all small metal internal parts. I forget the name of the package. Its kind of expensive stuff, but the quality is 2nd to none. after thousands and thousands of rounds, it has only polished up a little in some spots. I carried it for duty in a level II holster for about 7 years and off duty concealed for about 9 total. I still have and shoot it regularly, that is, when my wife gives it up to me for cleaning. she has adopted it, it seems. cleaning is so easy with the slick finish, just wipe and its gone. even if the slide is run dry, it never fails to feed, cycle or fire. It is one of the only finishes that will increase your reliability. another cool thing was that I had a "duo-tone" sig several years before the factory starting making them. I took the original gun to the coast on my bike for about 5 days, when I got home, I had surface rust on the slide and that prompted me to send it in. I would not hesitate to have them do any other guns I own.
