I want one, has anyone heard how much they are expected to cost if they're put into production? A midsized offroading pickup with a powerfull & fuel efficent 2.8L Turbo diesel (can be converted to bio-diesel later...) with this much style is just to good to miss.
Nice- I like it- wonder if it'll ever be produced...I'd get one (if I could part with my 2k wrangler...)

That new 2.8 CRD Diesel is ultra powerful also.

I guess I'm a dinosaur nowadays but what is with the damn plastic in the engine bay?

Think I'd get more than the 14 mpg I get now with the 200 wrangler- I'm on 33's with 4:56 rear end and about a ton of armour!!
Rob: I guess the plastic is to keep the mud from falling in from the top- too bad it usually gets thrown up from the bottom. Maybe it's so the engine looks like an Audi...
I like it, except for that side mounted spare. I would have to get the spare mounted in the bed, baja style. It would kill all usability of the bed, but would cool.

I like it too!
However, I read in some rag that it is just a concept.
The wrangler is due for a new platform in '07-'08 that may have an exteneded bed somewhat like the gladiator's. . .
I think that the new "unlimited" already has an extended bed.

If enough interest exists I heard the 2.8CRD will appear in Wranglers.
