How heavy is the AR10, do you know? What type of scope is it? What did your whole setup cost you?
I am interested in building an AR10 in the next year or so. Not sure which make I am gonna go with, but I am pretty sure I'd like a 16-18" barrel.

Its pretty hefty about 12 to 15 pounds not sure exactly. The scope is a Leapold MK3 Tactical 3.5 to 10 with a bullet drop compensator and mil dots. The rings are Badger Ordance as is the Handguard.
The Original Rifle was an AR10T (sucked doubled so so accuracy) It set me back $1800. The Scope was on sale at CDNN for $750. The Rings cost me $120. The Barrel instalation and handguard instalation at GA Presision was a total of $815. The KAC two stage trigger was $225. The Harris bi Pod with pod lock was purchased second hand for about $100.
The total is $2895. It would have been a lot cheaper to go strait to GA Precision and buy one of his rifles for about $2200. I hate Armalite after dealing with them. If you want a precision AR10 no one is better than George at GA Precision.

That's a Surefire M500B - I used to have one (sold it when I went to a railed foreend). It's VERY bright, and it's built into the top handguard.
