Narrow slide/receiver gap near front on G17

My new G17 seems to have a narrow gap as it nears the front of the gun. It is very tight trying to put an M3 tac light on. Is this normal? My old G22 was not like this.

I just bought a G21 that looks just like your G17.I also have a G22 and G17, and they do NOT look like that. I think your G17 and my G21 frames are warped.

It looks sorta like a banana shape.

I've never seen one with such a pronounced bend.
My old G19's dustcover was warped slightly to one side, but not up.

Yes, it looks like a banananana ding dong. I am hoping my M3 tac light will loosen it up a bit over time, taking it off hundreds of times etc,. since I use the light for just about everything else.
