Yeah, I just new set of Coco-Bolo's from you guys - boy do they look and feel nice. Gun still conceals well.

I'm just unsure about the grip screw - seems to be a bit off. I'm using the standard issue grip screw and it doesn't seem to be going all the way through and tightening on the frame. Maybe I just have to play with it a bit.

Black guns and dark wood look GREAT!

i had a wooden(walnut) grip on a bulgi i traded off ssome time back.i didnt realize how well the stock plastic(bakelite)grips that come on makaroves feel the best.my bud threw his houge ruber mak grip away after shooting mine.he dug up the stock grip and thats what he still has on her.

I now own checkered grips from Top Gun Supply.
The fit is perfect on my Mak.
Love it.
They are the Checkered East Indian on his site
Tom followed up on my order with an email.
Received grip 1 week later.
Most excellent.
Good price too.

Did you work out the grip screw issue? Those are made on factory grips and I don't alter the grip screw area, so they should work. Make sure the hole is clear and also make sure your spring lock is centered on the frame. If you have any more problems with it, please let me know.

Trust me - those grips look soooo nice on my Bulgy I'll work it out. I'm putting 100 rounds of Silver Bear through it tommorrow. That should be a good test of how well attached the grips are ;f

Those grips look good. I have been wanting a set for my Mak. For some reason that half checkered look seems very striking. I like it much better than the full checkered ones.
