I was running a 19 lb. spring in my 24 but it runs much better with a 15 lb. spring. Anybody else have similar experience or advice? On a side note I shot in the GA state match this weekend and Dave Sevigny was in my squad. He was a super nice guy and a it was a real joy to watch him shoot.

I have a titanium tube in my G24 but never changed my spring because to many people told me I would run into problems.
What weight is stock?

Stock weight for a 24 is 17 lbs.

Maybe I will give a 15lb a try then. Is there a huge difference between the 17lb and 15lb springs?

The difference is not huge but the 15 lb. spring causes the slide to cycle a little faster and for some reason my 24 with the Caspian slide runs best with a 15 lb. spring.

My brother and I both use 15# springs on our LS Glocks (G35 him, G24 me). I tried a 21# spring but it was slow like people said so I switched it out for a 15# on a stainless rod and haven't gone back.
