I picked up a nib G36 saturday and got a chance to shoot it today sunday the 14th. The pistol shot and functioned excellent! I was shooting winchester 185 gr fmj at 10 yds. I could not believe how accurate this pistol shot. I only got to shoot 25 rounds when the sky opened up and started raining pretty hard. I would put this G36 up against an H&K usp anyday !

One range session with one type of ammo is hardly grounds to pit one gun against another! The H&K USP is no joke. If anything the G36 is the most problematic Glock model. But if you find a JHP that works well, it is good to go.

1. He's excited about his new glock.
2. you shouldnt rag on him telling him his glock is a problem when usually most of the problems people have with the 36 are user related.
3. I dont want to start any fights with hk's vs Glocks but this is a glock forum so if someone wants to say there glock is better than an HK let them. If you dont like it go to an HK forum and say your HK is better than a Glock.
4. You shouldnt have said anything to the guy and just went on to a different post. What is the point of your post ? You are starting a fight with the person. I hope you understand where I am comming from.

Hello Guys I am not trying to start a war G36 VS H&K both are very fine pistols. I probably should not jump the gun and I will try some different ammo were I am planning on carrying this pistol. But so far so good and I am excited to add another firearm to the gun safe.

My 36 is also extreamly accurate. More so than my 21. I have had good luck with Hydra Shocks.

I got to take out my new G36 today monday the 15th. I shot 25 rnds of speer gold dot 185 gr hollow points with no hiccups and also ran another 50 rnds of winchester 185 gr fmj with no problems. So far so good! I will run some more hollow points throught it before I start to carry it. I don't think there will be any problems it is a glock.

I dont wanna hi-jack the thread. But does anyone here have both the 30 and the 36? I would like to know because I also here that the g30 is incredibly accurate. Just wondering if the 36 is the same in there hands also. I just need to go rent these things at the range already lol

I reread my post, and I think your making a mountain out of a molehill. I was not trying to start a fight by any means. I don't own an H&K, so there is little point in me going to the H&K forum to say it is better than a Glock.
As far as the "point of my post", it's simple. I was saying one range session with one brand of ammo is not grounds to claim a gun's superiority over another. That's it. I'm not out to hurt someones feelings. ;) ;c

Glock influence I have tried out a glock 30 that a friend has and it was also very accurate. My friend shoots his very well. The only thing I did not like was the thickness of the grip were my hands are not large. The grip felt a little to big for me. I have also heard other peolpe say that the glock 30 is one of the most accurate glocks. Thats what I have heard anyway.

That is exactly the reason I will not get a 30. Its "too big to be so small" as I say. I love the G21, the larger grip doesnt bother me at all, but its the large grip plus how short it is which bothers me about the 30. I wish it were different. I'd love to have 10 rd mags for such a small gun but I guess 6+1 is going to have to do.

I own the Glock 30 & 36. I have had the 30 for approx a month. A great gun and very accurate. I have had the Glock 36 for about a year and a half. Very reliable and very accurate. I am a 1911 shooter. I bought the Glock 36 on impulse. It is the gun that made me like glocks. I cannot say enough good about both guns. I am sure you will enjoy your glock 36.

I own a G36 and a G21 (plus a G27 but that's off the subject) and love them both. I really want to buy a G30 as well but can't find a good reason to do so when I already own the other two 45s. Somebody please sell me on the purchase of a G30 by giving a good reason to get it when I already own the G36 and G21. It wouldn't take much to convince me...

I would just go shoot it if you havent already. Most people complain about the 6+1/7+1 capacity. The g30 as we all know is 10+1 or 9+1 and I think you can put your 13rd G21 magazines in the G30 which ever way you want to go. For me I just dont like the 30 feels at all. But I feel this way almost on all the sub compact glocks. Its not that my hands are big I just dont feel I can get a good enough grip on them. And someone keeps telling me something in the back of my head ...

Hey Glock Influence i decided to trade in a ruger 44 mag wheelgun for a new G21 in desert camo. It makes a nice pair with my G36. Shot the G36 yesterday and it shot great even with hollow points. I have been eyeing this G21 for a little while and said the hell with it and got the G21 also.
P.S. My wife is some proud of me.

MBR right now I don,t have a digital camera I have been buying glocks but I do need to buy one. Maybe this wekkend.
You will enjoy a digital camera almost as much as your Glocks!
My wife purchased ours. I thought, " what the hell are we going to use that for"!!
Well now I know they are great. I use ours all the time. No more saying to yourself, "is this filmworthy"?
