My well used 35.

I have since changed the sights. The white lettering is gone. The slide looks new now. The colored base plates are for range work, when a lot of Glocks are on the line, so I get my magazines back.
Lancelot, I like your baseplates!
I love the looks of well worn in guns...

Krylon from Wal-Mart.
I went to a weekend tactical pistol class. Shot about 1000 rounds in two days. Learned a lot about me and the gun. My only malfunctions were user induced. Usually my thumb pushing the extended slide stop lever up. (You'll notice I run a standard one now)
Nine out of ten people were running Glocks. This was during the ban. I didn't want to lose my high-caps to someone else. With several people on the line all at once doing mag reloads it would have been easy to do. So I just got some extra baseplates for my range mags and painted them an obnoxious color.
Actually the color isn't bad. They do stand out in a sea of black.
And CDNN has used LEO magazines for $11.99 if you need some good range magazines. I got three, and they look used, but are good magazines.
Oh, and the slide, doesn't look new anymore...... :)

Its an OD frame 34. The slide has been refinished by the owner with moly resin. The owner's description:
"Here's my Glock 34 with OD frame, Express 24/7 sights, and Insight M3 light. The slide has been coated in Norrell's Moly-Resin Flat Dark Earth #30118. I haven't shot it yet with the new finish on the slide, but it seems very durable so far. The mag base and light were painted with good ole Krylon and as you can see it is already showing holster wear.
The mag extention can be found at Midway.com and adds 4 rounds to the G17 mags(21+1 total)."
.
i may have to get a 35 to go with my 34

Neat stand. Would you know where to pick one up other than, the importer's site (Chinese). I've seen them around but minus the Glock logo.

I bought it off of eBay but after checking back it looks like they have changed the logo's on them - they do not say Glock on them anymore.
Here is a link to the eBay seller. (http://stores.ebay.com/eHobby-Asia-Airsoft-Supplier_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQftidZ2QQtZkm)

I had seen those earlier and passed due to the "generic" logo. I did fire off an email to the seller and ask him if he has the ones available found here:
http://www.airsoft-war4.com/w4_wge.php?c=w4_wge_others
The black and silver both look very nice...
Thanks for the information.
Here are my 34 (top) and 35.
It looks like they have the Glock stands here:http://www.airsoft-war4.com/w4_wge.php?c=w4_wge_others

They do but they have a bit of a complicated ordering process. I found out they ARE available on eBay but a bit difficult to find...the models bearing the Glock logo are not readily apparent and do not appear in an eBay search using normal search techniques. FWIW, the ebay seller gets $9.99 & 6.00 shipping...much better than the importer gets direct.

It's because 9mm is the better choice overall then the .40 cal. is. ^c
Seriously though, I think most buy the long-slide GLOCKs for target type shooting only as the thought never even crosses their mind (A shame really.) that it could make a GREAT gun for CCW & the such. If all you’re ever going to do with the thing is punch paper &/or play “gun games” then why wouldn’t you want the one that shoots the less expensive fodder?

Well, because that is what I wanted... something I could shoot in IDPA.
Also, for personal defense, a 9mm is as good as any other flavor of the month out there in my opinion. I would carry a 9mm (G34 for that matter) with no fear of being undergunned one bit. 9mm will do it's job if you do yours.

My G35 that I shoot for USPSA Limited and Steel and I shoot it a lot. I shot out the stock barrel and have since replaced it with a KKM. Vanek trigger, dawson fiber optic sights, jp mag release, THE magwell, kwik grip, cr speed holster, belt and mag pouches, arrendondo base pads. ext tungsen guide rod, 15# spring for shooting major load, 11# for my steel load.
Yar, how many rounds did it take to wear out the stock barrel?
85,000+.
I shot two to three pistol matches through it a week for almost 3 years with the stock barrel. Same pace with the KKM but have only had it 10 months.

Add on well extensions are legal for ESP as long as it's not brass and adds weight to the gun. The JP magwell is made of really lightweight aluminum. It does fit in the IDPA box. It's a tight squeeze though. IIRC this is the only legal magwell....
See page 22 of the rule book #13.

Mud,
Please tell me about the green slide. That looks close to the color of the slide on my Wilson pistol.
Thanks,

OK, thanks. I love the green slide on my Wilson and it seems to be wearing very well. Getting the itch to get another Glock 35 though. I miss the one I sold last December. :(
Michigun,
It seems impractical.....but I like them.
Do you ever carry them in that rig?
My new (and 2nd) G34, think I'll keep this one, stupidly traded the first for a nostalgic, all steel, very accurate but sort of finicky other pistol ;)
Found this in my local shop's used bin, with 4 10rd mags (bleh!), Novak rear sight installed, '04 Trijicons in the box, and a Hogue grip, picked it up for $425, not too shabby.
[its really in great shape, the scanner made it look like its been at the bottom of the sea for a few months...]
