I have always wanted a CZ 75 or 85. Ran across a used one yesterday, outside it looked new (black poly coat). Bore looked ok. It has 2 15 rd mags and night sites for $286 before tax. Worth it? How do you field strip to check out the internals? TIA for answer

Here's a pdf owners manual for the Baby Eagle. (http://www.magnumresearch.com/images/BEP.pdf) Disassembly should be the same as the CZ75, etc. I think it's the same design.
It takes my computer about 20 seconds to open the pages. Be patient. Field-stripping begins on page 19.

Look toward the rear of the left (non-ejection port) side of the slide and you should see a small verical line. There is a corresponding vertical line a little farther back on the frame. Push the slide back enough to align the two marks. While holding the slide back and keeping the marks aligned, push the slide release out from the right side of the frame.
Once the slide release is out, the slide and barrel slide off the frame.
This is kind of tricky to do and when I had my CZ75B, I figured out a technique.
Grip the pistol as you normally would for firing, but rotate your right hand upward so that you are grasping the top of the slide with your fingers rather than the grip. Retract the slide enough to align the index marks and use the corner of a magazine to start the slide release out using your left hand. Once the slide release is about 1/4" out, you can pull it out the rest of the way with your left hand.
It's a little tricky until you get the hang of it.
