Pics of my small block powered '89 GMC Safari minivan. Currently undergoing a cam swap and a Tuned Port Injection installation.

SWEET.
It is a shame gm stopped making those. My old man had two of them. One he donated to an inner city charity with 365,000 miles on it. Its only repair, ever, was a fuel pump. LOL
Ever thought about dropping an lsx in it?

It's not uncommon to hear about 300,000+ mile Astro/Safari vans. There is a strong cult following and we all kicked and screamed when we heard they were cancelling the M and L body vans.
There are a few guys on the Astro/Safari forum who run LS1's. Although that engine is a spectacular performer...if I'm gonna drop ~$4000 on an engine it's big block all the way! ;f
In the works now is a fella from Canada who is putting a ZZ502 into his '98 AWD Astro. He's converting it to a hi/lo range transfer case with a 4L80-E transmission.
Cool. It looks to be in good shape.
