Mike, just a question. These are +P. I thought the strength of DT ammo was that it achieved additional velocity via standard pressure. Help me out here. Thanks.
After talking with hundreds of 9mm fans, I have found that more than 90% prefer to use +p ammuniiton. With this in mind, we came out with +p ammo that outperforms +p+ ammo. All three of these loads are running 35,200psi. SAAMI for non +p ammo is 35,000psi.

So you are slightly above std pressure but less than +P max?

Hey Mike, I was just wondering when we can expect to see some jello results for the 9mm loads. I'd never dream of rushing you, just curious is all. ;)

Mike will we need a higher power recoil spring like in the 10mm's? If so, what weight did you come up with? Thanks for getting these loads out.;c

I too am anxious to see what the extra speed does. Some believe this will "over-drive" the bullets past velocity for which they were designed and performance will suffer as the result. I will be most surprised if this is true in this case...especially, in the 147 grain load. This line of thinking may have it's origin from early 115 GDHP loads driven to +P+ velocities that tended to over-penetrate and under-expand. I've not seen recent evidence of this with current GD production and in fact, the Black Hills 124 gr. +P GDHP load produces outstanding results in both expansion and penetration. IMHO, the current crop of GD bullets, particularly the heavier ones, will be even better performers with the extra zip. Could be wrong of course but, I'm sure some of the first crop Mike shipped out will find their way to some jello testing and that should give a good clue...
I don't have any experience with DT ammo in any caliber (yet). I have absolutely no idea what testing is performed with regard to terminal ballistics; I was wondering if these DT 115 grain GDHPs show any signs of fragmentation?
FWIW, 'fragmentation' is one of the reasons I no longer use CorBon 115 grain +Ps.

How long till you have someone selling them in Canada? ;)
Not till WHAT freezes over??
I won't be buying any Federal 9BPLE 115-grain +p+ ammo anymore!
Just buy it guys, he knows what he's doing and you will NOT be disappointed.

This will be my new ammo of choice. I like the lighter weight bullets. Might go with the 115gr.
