View Full Version : Good conceal holster for G19? Everest 08-16-2005, 18:12 Anyone in here carry a G19 all day everyday? If so what holster do you use to conceal? Also needs to be comfortable in 95+ degree weather. Thanks kswiss2783 08-16-2005, 20:49 i carry a g23 in a sidearmor 4th gen. iwb and love it. the 19 and 23 are the same size so i suggest trying it. FLGlock30 08-19-2005, 22:58 I use a C.T.A.C. with a wilderness belt love it plus I live in Hell.....aka central Florida its damn hot here do a search there are thousand of posts like this BikerRN 08-20-2005, 09:53 I carry a Glock 19 or Glock 36 in a CTAC with velcro clips and a Ted Blocker LFI Belt. It works great for me. 610 08-22-2005, 23:45 My first...and last holster for my G19 is a Milt Sparks Watch Six. Do you ever get a product and say to yourself search over? I did. LSP972 09-20-2005, 19:36 If you're not fat or paunchy in the love handles, a Milt Sparks Summer Special is about as good as it gets, when you balance concealment and accessibility. It is PERFECT for use with Royal Robbins 5.11 pants. That said, when wearing a suit, I slip on a plain vanilla Fobus. Dress pants need to be at least a size larger to accomodate an IWB holster, and that makes them look dorky on me. Some folks on here decry the Fobus as a cheap, dangerous POS. Well, it is certainly inexpensive. And I've been carrying professionally for 27 years now. Dangerous? Hardly. It is indeed the best paddle holster I've used; and while I haven't tried them all, I have a box full of custom leather and kydex holsters acquired over the years. But I keep going back to the Fobus. Carrying concealed COMFORTABLY is an art, not a science. What works for me may, or may not, work for you. That aforementioned box holds probably close to a thousand dollars worth of various holsters. Nine times out of ten, I grab the Fobus. It works for me. Jim 10-01-2005, 22:31 The Glock "Sport-Combat" belt slide holster is not bad, if you don't mind the muzzle being exposed. Be careful sitting down, if the muzzle hits the arm of a chair it can push the gun up. LSP972 10-03-2005, 07:19 Jim, the problem with that holster (on my physique, at least), is that it doesn't pull the gun butt "in" and therefore prints rather significantly. But, as a knock-around general purpose holster, you're right; it ain't bad.;) gary newport 10-03-2005, 18:39 Originally posted by Jim The Glock "Sport-Combat" belt slide holster is not bad, if you don't mind the muzzle being exposed. I just wish Glock made full-coverage models to prevent the sort of "wardrobe malfunction" you mention. On me, the little Glock holster keeps the pistol as close to my body as any OWB holster could. cmzneb 10-09-2005, 19:28 Originally posted by kswiss2783 i carry a g23 in a sidearmor 4th gen. iwb and love it. the 19 and 23 are the same size so i suggest trying it. +1!!! I really like my Sidearmor IWB for my G23. REB26 10-10-2005, 00:09 i carry the g26 EVERYWHERE! my method of concealment is very defined! YOU CANNOT TELL AT ALL IF SOMEONE IS ARMED!!!! none! not in the least bit. as far as i am concerned, there is one way to conceal a glock 26 and that is what i use.,.. the uncle mikes inside the pant holster in front with an untucked shirt... no one and i mean NO ONE can tell! its great MeatGrinder 10-10-2005, 16:24 Bulman THR with Wilderness Instructor. Yes, when I bought my CTAC. Everest you want a G19 so I won't go on about how the G26 is better. When I had my G19 I carried it in a CTAC all day long in very hot weather with no problems. Very nice carry rig. Everest 10-12-2005, 10:40 Originally posted by Wallygator Yes, when I bought my CTAC. Everest you want a G19 so I won't go on about how the G26 is better. Do you still have the same accuracy with the 26? Wallygator 10-12-2005, 18:21 Originally posted by Everest Well I haven't shot a 26 yet but I didn't like the feeling uf my pinky hanging. Do you still have the same accuracy with the 26? It is a very accurate gun and I can shoot follow up shots quickly and accurately with it. After getting used to the no pinky grip, I actually prefer it now. I don't have pinky extensions on any of my mags. ;c mlmarion55 10-17-2005, 10:25 how about the Galco concealable? strazz 10-23-2005, 19:22 I use two different rigs: Milt Sparks Watch Six with a MS 1.5" belt. I had a Watch Six for my USP Compact, then thought I'd get a Versa Max when I got my G19. I've decided that I prefer the Watch Six. This is extremely comfortable and easy to conceal. CompTac Pro Undercover with a Wilderness 1.5", 5-stitch Instructor belt. I use this whenever I plan on getting dirty or sweaty. It's not as comfortable, but it's not bad at all. denfoote 10-23-2005, 20:49 When I had my G19, I carried it in this IWB holster. http://www.predator-holsters.com/products-page.html Now that I have a G23, I use the self same holster!! DanV1317 10-24-2005, 11:19 I had a c-tac and absolutly hated it. It was tough on the skin and not comfortable at all! I traded it for a milt sparks VM2. It was a dream come true to switch. Retention is great, comfort is great, and it is just an amazing holster. G19/23 Wallygator 10-24-2005, 13:49 Originally posted by DanV1317 I had a c-tac and absolutly hated it.
