Heinie's on all my Glocks. Some have plain black, others are straight eight night sights. They have the best combination of daytime target sight picture with a good night picture.

I still have my fixed sights but I think I am going to get a set of Ameriglo's for it soon.
Anyone use them?

For those that have seen a variety of sights firsthand, anyone think that Heinie's are the most visible ?
Don't want to hijack the post, but apart from Bo-mars, I want sights that are very easy to acquire visually. Are the Heinie's any better than the "lower mount" offerings?

With the rare exception, I use Meprolight Adjustables on all my Glocks. For target shooting and Handgun hunting, I have found these to be exceptionally accurate and very adjustable sights, meaning I can get zeroed without a lot of fuss as the clicks seem mirco-adjustable, and they also very tough [they stay put on my G20 with DoubleTap loads run through all day long] and as well, very usable in a variety of roles ;f

Use my G34 for USPSA and am totally pleased with the Dawson adjustable rear/fiber optic front I got from Custom Glock Racing. The thin front with red optic makes for a fast sight picture...and the outside edges on the rear sight are a little sharp, which gives you a reason to keep your hand away from your pistol until the "Load and make ready" command from the RO ;)
FWIW, I have Heinies with race cuts on everything else, and like them as well.

What BayouSlide said. I have the same set of Dawson's on my 34. I love them.
Before I had the 34, I was running the Dawson's on my 21 (Carry gun), twice when I was leaving our club while raining, I ran and jumped in the truck, both times, I scraped the paint off in 2 spots about 3" long. OUCH!

I'm using Bo-Mar sights on my G24. The front sight keeps coming loose though.

I think Heinies have the best sight picture for me. I have a Heinie rear with a Dawson FO front on my 35 and I am very pleased with it. I liked it so much that I am putting the same set on my 24 in place of the HI-VIZ set I have now.

Mepro adjustables on my G34.
I guess I'm the oddball here. I had the Dawson/Heinie set and didn't care for it.
I'm running a HiViz Overmolded .090 fibre optic with the OEM adjustable rear.
HEINIE SlantPro Straight Eights
hiene slant rear and dawson fiber front for my esp/ipsc gun and mepros for the ssp 34.

I took Coach DannyR's advice and bought AmeriGlo target sights for my 34 and since have bought sets for my 19, and 26.
These are simply awesome!!!
I also have CGR race cut Heinies on my 17, and 30. I love them also.

Just switched from Adjustable Meps on the 17L [those have been moved to my G17 2gen carry gun] and am now using black on black Bomars on the 17L. Very good sights! I can appreciate why the 1911 guys like them so much ;f

Heinie Sights and a $0.25 Trigger job on the factory 3.5# connector.
I also like the Hogue grip sleeve.

I have Dawson Adjustables on my 34, with that .100 wide fiber optic front. I love these sights.
Since I believe in having two of anything thats just the best of breed, I plan to get a second 34 and intend to put CGR Race Cut Heine's on that one.

Dawson Precision adj. optic rear with .100 optic front. The thin front blade really helps.
I just ordered a ghost ring sight and a big dot front sight for my 17L. Should have them installed next week. I noticed nobody mentioned ghost rings and was wondering why not. I've been told they are the best for rapid target aquisition (just opinions, I'm sure). I'll post when I try my new sights on steel plates.
I just realized this was directed at G34/35. :-)
C-More when I pickup my 2nd G34 to replace the one I foolishly sold.

I went with AmeriGlo’s Operator fixed night sights for both of my G34’s… a GREAT mix between a “target” sight set & a “tactical” sight set. ^c
OK, so I finally bought a G34 and am going to try out USPSA Production next season. I am planning on leaving the 34 pretty much stock, but one change I do want to make is to put Dawson Adj. rear sight and FO front sight on. I see alot of you have added this combo but was curious if anyone has run into any issues because I have heard the front sight is a little tall.
Right now I am trying to decide between a KyTac, Comp-Tac, or the Blade-Tech holsters. Does anyone know if I will run into any issues with any of these brands?
My first choice the the KyTac (if I can bear the wait, hence me starting to plan now for next season)

No issues with any of those holsters mentioned. They are all top notch.
If you dont want to wait, you can go with Comp-Tac and have the holster in a week, and not sacrifice any quality or performance.
Heinie black Slant-Pro on the rear and Dawson's .105" Heinie-compatible Fiber Optic on the front. That Dawson sight is BRIGHT. Tried both red and yellow rods and found the yellow so bright I was looking at it instead of the target. Also found with this sight combination Winchester white box 147 gr shoots to point of aim at twenty-five yards. 115 gr shot 5 inches high at 25 yards and 124 gr shot 2 inches high at the same distance.

Personal choice is the Bladetech Kydex belt holster. It's IDPA legal and is what most of my friends use too.
I had an extra set of Trijicons that I just put on my 35 today. I hope to give it a good run tomorrow. I like the Trijicons on my 17,23,and 26. I have Meps on my 32 which are nice as well.

I was going to get the Ameriglo smooth slope, but
after seeing them up close and in person, I opted for the
Ameriglo classics(green/green).

Heinie Slant Pros... as soon as they get here on the 20th....
As for the above holster question.. There is a guy here in CT called Tactical Kydex Weaponry.... I shot a match with Doug and got his card. After finding out how long the wait and customer service issues with KY TAC I gave TKW a call. He had custom made my holster in 2 days and I had it in time for the match that upcoming weekend.....shoot me an email to bsjy1346@cox.net if you want the info or pics... My fastest times are running .80-.88 of a sec... Awsome product..

I have plain black Ameriglos on my G17L. The 0.090 front sight was ridiculously thin--reminded me of an Ar-15 post. Awaiting the standard front.

Both my G34 (production) & G35 (L-10) are fitted with the Dawson fiber optic, thin red front & green rear, adjustables. After shooting my 34 for about2 years with stock adj. on it, I converted to the Dawson. This is the FIRST mod. I should have made to the gun !
As far as a holster, check out the G-Code from Lone Wolf. In it's paddle configuration, it's IDPA legal.
As far as IPSC/USPSA, I've got it mounted on a Houge hanger from the "Power Speed" model, but the hanger can be acquired from Hogue for about $12.00 or so.
This is as fast as a "race" holster with just a little practice, as I use it for L-10 also. It's avaliable for both 17 & 21 size frames. I have both sizes & use the same belt setup for everything. By using Fobus lg mag pouches with a pc. of the "fuzzy" side of velcro inside, the small mags stay put, but the lg ones still work well also.
