I just had a 22/45 threaded and have not fired it yet, but I noticed that it will not cycle CCI subsonics manually. The extractor just leaves them in the pipe. I tried Remmington Subsonics and they worked fine. What subsonic ammo do you guys usually use and have you ever had problems with CCI subsonics cycling in Rugers?
Its not the extractor. Theres not enough power to blow the bolt back.
I use CCI standard velocity in my mk2.

I am guessing he is sitting in front of the TV cycling the action. Some 22 firearms don't even have an extractor it's often not even needed.
There are extra sharp extractors available and extra power extractor springs I imagine. Any dirt in the chamber and this is the first function that will fail.
Rem subsonic work ok, but you will have non cycling squibs some times.
PMC Moderator will not cycle any gun other than bolt actions.
Out of pistol length barrel many brands of ammo with be subsonic, Winchester Dynapoints bulk box seem to have a strong following.

Thanks. Yea, it has nothing to do with the power, like I said, I havent fired it yet. I'm just saying that the extractor does not catch the rim on the CCIs when cycling it by hand. It extracted a full mag of Remmingtons just fine though. Its a 4" 22/45 by the way.
