View Full Version : Just might be getting a G19
Well if the gun deal goes down on our trade, I will be getting a G19, and I'm looking forward to the change.
Oh I know your going what trade, right. Well I have a G27 that I want to trade for a G19. We both have 3rd generation Glocks so that is a plus, and I think we will both be real happy about it.

GReat choice. I love the 19 and say good move on your part. My good buddy carries a 27 and loves it. plus he has done a few mods like the 3.5lb NY1 trigger and a stronger wolff spring. Those mods do a lot to the 27 but dont add 7rds of ammo;f and faster follow up shots
I had a guy that was over anxious to trade a CZ75 for the G27 ;P I just looked at him and said... that aint no Glock and it don't rock. Even though the CZ felt fine, and it was a 9mm (fullsize), it still wasn't a Glock.
Another friend went ;P when I stated that I was down-sizing from .40 to a 9mm, but I told him, its all shot placement not caliber that matters.
He thinks I'm ;5
^2 But the bottom line is MY choice in what I carry.

Yep, Carry what you feel comfortable with and what you feel you shoot best.

hehe whats up? well a glock 22 mag will take care of half of that ;z
The accuracy of the Glock 19 out performs the Glock 27 by far, as least for me it did.
Here are a couple of pics.
The group shot with the G-27 was shot using Blazer Brass 180-gr at 10 yards benched controled.

The following G-19 groups were shot at 10 yards using WWB 115-gr FMJ:
1) target rappid fire standing
2) target benched slow fire
3) target rappid fire benched

The G-19 prints a much tighter group ;+ The grip of the G-19 feels much better and better ballanced. I'm not into the caliber war issues that some are.
It is all shot placement anyway ^2
My brothers department issued the Beretta 92FS when he got on the force many years ago, as they still do today. Although I've gotten one report the officers do not like the current grain of bullet issued, and probably wish they were using a 147-gr instead of the 124-gr Fed Hyd Shock that they currently use.
Again its shot placement, and plenty of trigger time.
