anybody know anything about these like accuracy/ fit finish? Trigger exc
My brother has a Kimber Gold Match in .40.. I shoot dang well with it but, I don't like the 1911 format simply because of the sharp edges etc.... I like to keep it simple and that spells Glock for me.
Now the problem my brother has is finding more single stack mags for it, should he loose any of the ones that he has. Kimber no longer makes the .40 Gold Match.

Are they downsized in relation to the smaller round or do they just put a 9mm barrel/magazine in .45 slide/frame?
Just wondering
It would be cool if they were a 3/4 sized 1911 for smaller shooter/carriers.

I have a Kimber Stainless Target 10mm. I believe the 9mm Kimber Target is the same dimensionally. Same with the .45acp Kimbers.
Unless they say compact or ultra.

1911 9mm's are built on the same frame as any other.
cool idea.id also ike to see a similar 3/4 3 inch compact 1911 in 9mm.
My Kimber Custom Target II 9mm is the most accurate 1911 I've ever shot. Fit and finish is standard Kimber (good in my experience).
Best.
