I am about to add a new grip and haven't decided which one I want. I believe I have it narrowed down to either the Samco G27 or the Ergo Sure-Grip. Does anyone know if the Samco has a plastic feel or a rubberized feel? It's hard to tell by the pics and descriptions I've found does'nt say either.

I, personally, don't care for either.
The Tango Down Battlegrip feels best in my hand and many agree that the grip angle is superior to other grips.
New on the market is the Magpul modular grip. You can change out the backstraps and frontstraps to achieve the desired size.
With both of those grips, there's storage inside for spare parts like ammo, batteries, or an extra bolt.
Check 'em out!

I like the ergo grip. Never tried the G27, although, I have been tempted to get one. They look like they would be comfortable.
The First Samco is hard plastic, and feels slick. I prefer the stock grip to this one. Would like to check out the Ergo Grip and Battle Grip myself.

The Ergo and TangoDown are good. Haven't seen the new Magpul.

I just grabbed the Hogue from tactical shack and slapped it on and I dont think its workin for me. It kind hurts my pinky because its stretchin. Seems like the angle could be too sharp or the grooves are too far apart. My hands arent real big. The handall works good on my glocks but I guess its not working for me on the AR
