I was thinking, would it be a good idea to use CV joints (car wheel bearings) lube for a handgun?
It doesn't dry out and doesn't burn at very high heat.
What do you think?

I'm assuming CV lube grease?
TOO thick for normal, Glock or gun lube. It could build up being very messy. Just my two cents worth.........
Not to mention nasty to get off the clothes.
I agree-I think it would be way too thick, plus the heat and friction it is intended to work with would not be as apparent in a pistol.
plus i'd think it would attract crud, since it is usually sealed away sort of in a boot.
cheers,
Derek
i use it to hold the locking rollers/lube them in cz52s
