Can we,civilians, legally own M-16, Galil, Uzi, or MP5 in our country. Where can we buy these rifles and subguns in our country legally? Thank you for your information. Best regards.

Yes.

You can have licensed thru the Philippine Gun Amnesty Law
up to September 2005 only.

NO you cannot buy sub-machine guns and high power rifles
in stores, most transactions are illegal.

If you i ask me where i got mine....well for security reasons i
cannot tell you where i got it.

Try to look for Army soldiers or policemen who are
in need of cash......maybe they can help;)

If you want low price m16 rifles, look in the provinces.

Hope this helps.

P120K to 240K depending on the set-up.
Only government officers can buy it, but if you have
high connections in the military or pnp maybe you can buy some;f

Are pistol caliber carbines considered as high powered rifles?

Pistol caliber carbines bolt action or semi-auto are called carbines.

Pistol caliber carbines full autos are sub-machine guns, yep they
are in the high power category because they can fire many bullets
in one squeeze of the trigger.

Yes, you can own high powered rifles and subs but the thing is, if you fail to have them licensed you might end up in hot water someday..mahirap din, sakit sa ulo, right? so i guess, there's always a risk but what the heck..we're all gun fanatics, lets go get some and enjoy them in the firing range.:-)

Why sakit ng ulo? my friends used to have loose and expired license
for their guns pero hindi naman sumasakit ulo nila.

Nagkaroon din ako ng loose at expired licenses before pero
di sumakit ulo ko.

Mabilis pa nga ibenta pag loose eh, wala ng transfer chenes.

I guess what i meant was..."if you get caught by the proper authorities" thats when you'll begin to experience "sakit sa ulo" right?
this is the reason why i sold my M16A2 and my other unlicensed pistols. My other friend who owns 8 rifles (AK 47'sm thompsons, springfield, etc...) and 7 pistols of which only 2 are licensed has the initiative to just leave his guns in his barracks in a military camp. Hidden somewhere...just to prevent any untoward incident in the future.
Anyway, I guess, thats what i meant by "Sasakit ang ulo", again...Pag nahuli ka. Unless, you're that powerful and you have connections up there, diplomatic immunity ika nga.

Wala sakit ng ulo if you do things legally. We acquire firearms for many different reasons but we should be willing to pay the price for licenses and other stuff. Sakit lang naman ng ulo iyan kapag illegal o kaya out of your budget. Para bang pera-pera lang iyan. Pag walang budget, wag na sumubo sa alanganin. he he he Peace

Bro's

Question, Granted you have licensed F/A i.e M16, Glock - Is there a limit on how much ammunition you can store at your place of residence like if you have a thousand rounds of 9mm and a thousand rounds of 5.56? What are the rules regulating the quantity of ammunition one can posses.

Cheers,
