I was wondering if anyone owns a p11? I have someone selling one for $175 used, is this a good price? Is it a good gun? Take it or leave it?
If you can handle the hard trigger pull, it should be fine.
Kel-Tec Owner's Group (http://www.ktog.org) has a forum board as well.

The p-11 is a fair gun. It was my first handgun and once you know the trigger on it you can become fairly accurate.
The p-11 were few and far between some never had a problem and some were 200 dollar paper weights. Alot of LEo use these as a BUG since they are light and small. IT depends how your buddy's gun is..175 is a fair price as i sold mine used for 250. Go to KEL TEC OWNERS GROUP (http://www.ktog.org) There you kind find lots of info, how to do the F&B.
My verdict is see if you can shoot it if you like it buy it cause you can always resell for the same.;c

Should it need a bit of tinkering, you can always ask questions on the KTOG.com Bulletin Board. Kel-Tec now offers a 12-round magazine that is the same size as the current 10-round mag, if you want to carry more rounds. If you plan on firing more than a few magazines at the time add a pinkie extension to your extra magazines. The trigger pull is more like a revolver than a Glock. I have several P-11s with over 1,000 rounds through each. My Glocks guard the house while a P-11 accompanies me each day. I hope this helps.

I have one and I like it. Your price of $175 is a great buy. I thought mine was when I bought it for $199.00. I also have a Kel-Tec P3AT which I love (not like a Glock, but some love!). Besides the ktog.com, there is also a forum called, ktrange.com, which has a lot of good tips and stuff people who own Kel-Tecs share. ;a ;a

Kel-Tec seems like a decent choice, and some good bang for the buck. But I'll stock with Glock. Unless Glock comes out with something smaller that I can hang on to, the G26 is small enough for me. I can dress around it.

i shot a friend once.no thank you 3-4 shots and my index finger knukles was all skinned up.you can hold the gun tight enough for it not to beat your shootin hand up bad.

I'd say it's a good price. Mine's been riding in my front pocket most of the summer - it makes a good summer carry gun because it will fit in the pocket of most of my slacks and shorts.
And BTW, the P11 will take 12 & 15 round S & W magazines. I carry mine with a 12-round Kel-Tec magazine in the gun, with one up the pipe, and a 15 round Smith magazine for my spare mag.
I agree about putting in range time so you get used to the trigger pull. It can be a hard trigger to get used to, and you need to practice with it.
